🎶✊🏾 Produce Your Own R&B Track and Celebrate the Women Who Changed Music—In Person in LA!
This Women’s History Month, join Black Girls Code in Los Angeles for an unforgettable in-person workshop where teens (ages 13–17) will use Python and AI to produce an original R&B track—all while celebrating the Black women who shaped the sound of modern music!
Using EarSketch, a music-coding platform developed at Georgia Tech, students will:
✨ Learn Python coding fundamentals through hands-on music production✨ Use AI tools to remix, layer, and compose original beats✨ Explore the legacy of icons like Alicia Keys, Ciara, and more✨ Walk away with a finished R&B track they produced themselves
Beginner-friendly—no coding or music production experience needed. Bring curiosity and a computer if you prefer using your own!
