WHERE: Lunch in the Courtyard outside the Pleger Building, game on the Boo-U athletic field near the tennis courts
WHO: All are welcome! We are looking for some Boo U Alumni to join in the fun! (If you need someone to run the bases for you we will find someone.)
UW–Platteville Baraboo Sauk County will host its annual Codger–Brat Game,—students versus faculty, staff, and alumni in a lively, nail-biter of a matchup (that the Codgers somehow always seem to win!).
Hot Dog Avenue will be serving hamburgers, chips and dessert. Beverages will be provided. (In case of rain, we’ll move the action indoors for wiffleball in the Lange Gym.)
Come for lunch and stay for the fun—whether you want to hit the field or cheer from the sidelines! Bring your bat and glove—or just a lawn chair—and get ready for some fun in the sun as we send off this beloved tradition in style.
We’ll also be selling Boo-U merchandise, so you can take home a piece of campus spirit.
This year’s event will be especially meaningful as we gather in light of the ending of our partnership with UW, making this the final Codger–Brat Game. We hope you’ll join us to celebrate the memories, traditions, and community that have made this campus so special over the years.
Let’s see if the “Old Folks” (Codgers) can beat the “Young ’uns” (Brats) one last time!
