Coddiwomple Night Walk in Philips Park, Whitefield
Following on from the success of our Wednesday walks get ready for an exciting, first ever, night walk around Philips and Drinkwater Parks!
Join fellow walkers as we coddiwomple — that’s walking purposefully in a random direction! Explore the sights and sounds of the park after dark, meet new friends, and enjoy a chill, in-person adventure under the stars.
The walk, which is out and back from The Barn Countryside Centre, will be approximately 5 miles in length and take us 90 minutes to 2 hours. The walk will take place whatever the weather, so please wear appropriate footwear (parts of the route will be muddy/wet), wear appropriate clothing, but most importantly, wear a head torch or bring a flashlight.
Meet at The Barn Countryside Centre, Philips Park, M45 7QJ at 6pm, and join us for a brew and warm up when we return to base.
The walk will be led by qualified, experienced walk leaders on a pre walked and pre risk assessed route.
