Cocoon is lovingly co-founded by Morpho and Olivia, who share a love of dance, sacred spaces, transformation and creating community. We believe in the power of music and dance to reconnect us to ourselves, to each other, and to something greater.

Our vision is to create a sacred space where you can be your most authentic self, to dance however you want, to explore what’s alive within you, to feel deeply, and to let go of what no longer serves. Through this embodied journey, letting the music be your guide, transformation naturally unfolds.

For this dance we are delighted to welcome Somatic dance facilitator and DJ Isabell.

Isabell:
I am an embodiment facilitator trained in somatic dance and a qualified yoga teacher with a lifelong love of movement. I've been dancing since I was a little girl, following the thread of rhythm and expression whever it led. Over the years I've woven together practices from Open Floor, Movement Medicine, Ecstatic Dance and Five Rhythms, allowing them to flow into one cohesive, intuitive movement journey.

While each discipline has supported my path into embodiment, it is somatic dance that truly freed my spirit and my body. Through this work I guide others to list more deeply, move more honestly and meet themselves with curiosity and compassion.

Unwind is an invitation to explore the inner landscape of the body, to dance with your own living tapestry, and to follow the subtle threads that lead you back home to yourself.

Cacao ceremony

Begin the Cocoon journey with a warm Cacao Ceremony to open the heart, ground the body, and connect with your intentions.

A mindful, soulful ritual that prepares you for a deeper ecstatic dance experience.

Sound bath with Olivia

At the end of our dance, Olivia guides you into a deeply restorative Sound Bath to support integration and grounding.

As the movement settles, crystal bowls, chimes, and gentle frequencies create a soothing soundscape that helps your body absorb the journey.

What is Somatic Dance?

Somatic dance is a free flowing intentional movement practice exploring the connection between body, mind and emotions and encouraging awareness, presence and deep self- connection. No steps to follow, just listen to the facilitator guiding you from the inside out so you can connect with your own rhythm.

1. We Dance without shoes: This allows us to connect more fully with the ground.

2. We Dance without words: This makes it easier to be in a meditative state, be in your body and let go of the mind.

3. We Dance as we are: Drugs/alcohol free, phone/camera/video free, just be yourself; with respect for ourselves, the space, and one another.

Cocoon DJ & Facilitator - Morpho

Morpho is a transformational DJ who weaves ethereal soundscapes and primal rhythms to guide dancers on a journey of self-discovery and liberation. Specializing in ecstatic dance, Morpho crafts immersive sets that blend organic world beats, deep tribal grooves, and soulful melodies, creating a space where movement becomes meditation.

Pregnancy Guidance for Sound Bath

If you are pregnant, you are warmly welcome to attend Cocoon sessions once you are in your second or third trimester. Our sound baths are gentle and relaxing, with no heavy or intense gong work. Please let us know in advance if you are pregnant so we can best support you. If you are in your first trimester, we kindly ask that you wait before attending. As always, please consult your midwife or doctor if you have any specific concerns.

Info: Please arrive by 19:30 at the latest when the doors will close. This is so we can all be together for the opening circle and create a held container.

Info: We will have an opening circle with a cacao ceremony to connect the group and go through the guidelines for the dance.

Info: Isabell will guide you through the dance

Info: Please bring a yoga mat and blanket and whatever you need to make yourself comfortable.

Info: We'll close the dance with an opportunity to share your experience for those who would like to.

Info: We'll be offering tea and fruit giving you the chance to connect with your fellow dancers.
