Creatives of Colour Festival presents a song workshop with Riah from Listen Gallery.

Join us for Listening Songs - a collaborative, experimental song-making workshop exploring song as a shared space for creative imagination. No singing experience is needed.

Riah is the founder of Listen Gallery C.I.C, an artist-run, non-profit sound arts gallery and communal listening space based in Glasgow. The programme creates space for listening through workshops, performances, exhibitions, screenings, and other sound-focused projects. Our aim is to make sound art accessible to everyone and to use listening as a way to create, collaborate, reflect, and grow together. Listening, for us, is an act of care: a way to understand ourselves, each other, and our environment.

The festival centers the voices, experiences, and creativity of people of colour in Glasgow. Storytelling sits at the heart of these creative practices, and celebrates the resilience, joy, and talent of PoC artists. Curated by Zahra Khosroshahi and Kevin Leomo.
