For the month of November we will be doing a special fine waiver, Coats for Fines. From November 4th to 27th you can bring in new or gently used coats/jackets (for children or adults) and the library will waive $5 in overdue fines per coat. (Only overdue fines. This money cannot go toward damaged or missing books.) You are encouraged to donate as much as you want, however, Fifty Dollars ($50) is the maximum overdue fine that will be waived on your account. Don't have any fines, but have coats that need a new home? No problem, bring them in and let us know you would like to be a fine angel. All coats will be given to Health and Human Services and handed out to those in the community in need.
