Coastline Concerts presents: Guitarists Jesse Marshall & Misha Smirnov

Two of Vancouver Island's finest guitarists Jesse Marshall & Misha Smirnov present an evening of solo & duo performances. Jesse & Misha were recently finalists in the 2026 Northwest Guitar Festival, hosted here in Victoria.

Jesse Marshall is a guitarist and composer from Nanaimo, BC. Active as a freelance guitarist since 2013, career highlights include performances at the Nanaimo Jazz Festival, Nanaimo Guitar Showcase, and Island Notes Chamber Music Festival. Jesse recently a masters degree in classical guitar performance at the University of Victoria. Previously, he completed B. Mus. and B. Ed. degrees at Vancouver Island University and a masters degree in jazz performance from the University of Toronto.

After escaping the Siberian Tundra’s icy grip, Misha Smirnov now coaxes warm, finessed melodies on classical guitar.
