Join Jo Pilston Pottery for a hands-on, laughter-filled class where you’ll create your very own set of ceramic coasters and a matching coaster holder using the gorgeous hazelnut clay. Because your coffee table deserves better than cardboard.
In this class, you’ll learn slab-building techniques and experiment with a variety of surface decoration methods—or keep things smooth and simple if that’s your vibe. We’ll have colored slip and underglaze transfers on hand so you can play, experiment, and maybe surprise yourself (in a good way).
Once your coaster masterpieces are complete, Jo will whisk them back to the studio for firing and glazing to your specifications—no kiln babysitting required on your part.
Your finished coaster set will be delivered to the Back Mountain Makery in 2–3 weeks, ready to take home, show off, and use for a lifetime of coffee, tea, and “oops, I forgot a coaster” moments.
