Mark your calendars Saturday, May 2 for the 22nd Annual Coastal Gardening Festival from 9AM-2PM on the grounds of the Baum Center in K*ll Devil Hills!
Join us for a beautiful day of plant sales, bake sale, vendors, education, kid's activities and FUN! Our Master Gardeners have grown and prepared over 1,500 plants that will be for sale. These plants were grown here on the Outer Banks and are more hopeful to thrive and survive in our coastal area! There will be many native plants as well as houseplants, vegetables, shrubs, trees and more! Don't miss delicious home baked goodies at the Bake Sale, grab some raffle tickets for the $500 Grand Prize along with many other great items, peruse a selection of 40+ artisan, plant and non-profit vendors, bring the kids for a fun and educational scavenger hunt, and come loaded with your most burning gardening questions to our Ask a Master Gardener tent.
Stop by our Education tent to learn more about Plants that Thrive and Survive on the Outer Banks and check out some excellent coastal plant options!
Take a walk through the beautiful Arboretum during your visit - or any time! Dare Extension Master Gardeners work hard to help keep the Arboretum in tip top shape!
Grab your wagon, friends, family, kids, dogs and reusable bags and come out Saturday, May 2, for the Coastal Gardening Festival - you won't go home empty handed!
