This year's theme is "The Black Lives Matter Movement vs The Modern Civil Rights Movement".

Compete for cash awards as follows (minimum):

1st Place: $350
2nd Place: $100
3rd Place: $50

All donations-minus any Event Brite fees-will be added to the pool to increase cash awards.

Registrants must adhere to the following conditions to confirm registration.

Must be willing to provide email and accept correspondence from the Coast Guard Chapter of Blacks In Government
Must be a high school student in grades 9, 10, 11, or 12
Must complete and submit entry form and background information form by April 9th
Must provide copy of birth certificate by May 1st
