Coaching Skills for Managers and Team Leaders

Course dates:

Tue 17 Sep, 10am - 4pm (IN-PERSON) then Tue 24 Sep and Tue 8 Oct both 10am - 1pm and held ONLINE.

Course Overview

This course is an opportunity to develop key coaching skills that are useful in organisational life – in 1:1’s, team meetings, workgroups, partnerships, and planning meetings. The CLEAR coaching model will be the core approach, and we will think together about how to integrate it within your work role, including managing performance. This course will include some insights from psychology and neuroscience, specifically relating to optimising how we work to enable everyone to deliver their best.

Learning Outcome

By the end of this course, you should:

• Understand the CLEAR coaching model and how to integrate it across your work.

• Have had opportunities to practice using the CLEAR model in a workshop setting.

• Have shared thinking with others about how this approach can be usefully integrated into your work as managers and team leaders.

• Have been supported to apply your learning between sessions and debrief with the group.

• Have had useful opportunities to reflect and develop professionally.
