A concert centering a series of compositions and performances from CMCB's own faculty and staff.
About this Event

As part of the John Kleshinski Concert Series, Manuel García-Baró has curated a self-portrait concert for the Community Music Center of Boston, showcasing original works composed and performed by CMCB teachers, administrative staff, and youth employees.

Some examples of our participants Hannah Elizabeth Tobias, our Community Music School Coordinator, who is a touring flute soloist in recitals around the U.S.; Manuel García-Baro, a faculty member at CMCB and Berklee College of Music who has written many jingles for brands such as Dunkin Donuts; Jillian Moore, a youth employee for CMCB Advancement and masters student in the New England Conservatory Jazz Department; and Lecolion Washington, Executive Director of CMCB and distinguished bassoonist who has been a featured solo and chamber musician throughout the U.S., Brazil, South Africa, Canada, and Switzerland.

Join us to celebrate our CMCB community and hear music of all genres, including the world premiere of new compositions!

Named in memory of John Kleshinski, former CMCB Board President and student, the John Kleshinski Concert Series provides access to high-quality musical performances for all, aiming to present a diverse sampling of instruments and genres.
