About this Event
CMAS GO! Parent Night - Got to Catch the Knowledge! Calling all Trainers (parents and guardians of students in grades 3–8)!
CMAS testing is coming, and we’re inviting families to power up for testing season at CMAS GO! Parent Night — a Pokémon GO–themed evening designed to make testing information fun, clear, and easy to understand. During this interactive event, families will explore the school Pokémon GO–style by visiting classrooms to “catch” important information about CMAS testing, including: What CMAS testing looks like day-to-day, how long testing lasts and what mornings will feel like, how teachers support students during testing, and how families can help students stay calm and confident.
Hands-On Experience: Parents will also get the chance to try a CMAS-style practice problem alongside their child, so families can experience firsthand what students will see and feel during testing. As you visit each classroom, you’ll complete a CMAS GO passport. Catch all the information, get your passport stamped, and earn a prize for catching them all! Dinner will be provided. This event is for current parents and guardians of students in grades 3–8. Let’s work together to help our students level up and feel confident for CMAS testing!
