About The Show:
A truck stop sandwich shop offers its formerly incarcerated kitchen staff a shot at redemption. Even as the shop’s callous owner tries to keep them down, the staff members learn to reclaim their lives, find purpose, and become inspired to dream by their shared quest to create the perfect sandwich.
Clyde's is presented as part of The Narrative, a partnership between Asheville Community Theatre and Different Strokes Performing Arts Collective. The Narrative is a series of staged readings of plays written by BIPOC playwrights. The Narrative celebrates BIPOC theatremakers and creates paid opportunities for BIPOC performers and directors in WNC.
This event is lightly catered. Tickets are $10.
The Narrative is sponsored in part by ArtsAVL, Buncombe County, and The Teel Family Foundation.
