And appearing alongside Ben’s perfectly researched, region-accurate French accent is a veritable Moulin Rouge of talent! Topping the barricade is the Mayor himself, Ciaran Chillingworth (Best Debut nominee, Leicester Comedy Festival 2025), followed by a club takeover from Newcastle’s own alternative night Silly Billies! Will you join in our crusade? Life is about to start when March 2nd comes!
Age recommendation: 12+. The show is not aimed at children/a family audience but the material from the Wormhole Gang usually tends to be relatively clean. Material from both the Gang and guests will be respectful and bigotry is not tolerated. Most guest acts tend to be relatively clean but we do not make this a requirement of them so family-friendly content is not guaranteed and discretion is advised.
Access info: There is a small step at the front door that there is a portable ramp to cover. There are four steps to the show space that there is a platform wheelchair lift (rated to 250kg) to bypass. There is a lip at the entrance to the room that we currently do not have a solution for (at most 2cm high). There are accessible toilets on the same level as the venue space. See video on YouTube.
Pricing: £8.50/£5.00 concessions (fees included). Concessions do not have a strict definition and will not be policed - if you need the concession price, please use it, even if you do not fall into one of the usual categories. No-one will be turned away for lack of funds (message us for guest list).
