Heinäkuussa Club Infektio tarjoilee harvinaista herkkua tuodessaan ensimmäistä kertaa Suomen kamaralle puolalaisen synthwave ja cyberpunk-artistin: Cassetter! Cassetter yhdistelee musiikissaan synthwaven nostalgiaa moderniin electro housen ja technon vaikutteisiin, luoden kutkuttavan yhdistelmän tummasävytteistä retrofuturiikkaa. Artisti on julkaissut 4 albumia (The Fugitive (2019), Entropy (2020), Robot Era (2021), Lights Out (2022)), Parallel Reality EP:n 2023 sekä lukuisia remixejä ja singlejä, joista tuorein sinkku Return Of The Cassette Man julkaistiin huhtikuussa 2024. Cassetterin musiikki on soinut myös suurimmilla synthwave/cyberpunk-kanavilla sekä Spotifyn editorilistoilla. Livenä Cassetter vie kuulijansa syvälle synkkään cyberpunkin maailmaan.
Lisäksi lavalle astuvat kotimainen dark electro industrialin legenda Kuroshio Current. Vuonna 2008 haudattu orkesteri on herätetty henkiin esittämään v 2005 julkaisematta jääneen kadoksissa olleen Und3rtow albumin teokset. Bändin syväjäästä heränneet jäsenet ovat päättäneet liven lisäksi tuottaa ja julkaista teokset tämän vuoden aikana.
Illan kolmas live-akti on turkulainen Sex Ranger, jonka soundissa kuuluvat vahvasti old school EBM, anarcho-punk sekä yhteiskunnan paineet ja ihmiskunnan kiroukset.

We welcome the Polish synthwave/cyberpunk artist Cassetter to Finland for the first time ever!
Combining the melodic nostalgia of synthwave with modern production chops and genre influences ranging from electro-house to techno, Cassetter creates music that is simultaneously a throwback to the past and a cutting-edge vision of what’s next. The artist crafts every bit of his immersive, retro-futuristic soundscapes from the ground up, and his subtly dark cyberpunk world invites listeners to step inside and go exploring.
Cassetter has released 4 long-play albums so far: The Fugitive (2019), Entropy (2020), Robot Era (2021) and Lights Out (2022), following with a Parallel Reality EP in 2023 and many singles and remixes in between. His music has been featured on the biggest synthwave/cyberpunk channels and Spotify editorial playlists.
As a live performer, Cassetter usually picks his darker and grittier tunes for his DJ Sets. You can expect a lot of power tracks with cyberpunk vibe and a bit of nostalgia.
Another live act of the night includes the Finnish dark electro industrial legend Kuroshio Current, who will resurrect the band that was buried in 2008 and perform the long lost songs from an unpublished 2005 album Und3rtow. As the cryosleep effects subside the band is also planning to produce and publish the lost songs back to flesh during this year.
The third live performer is Sex Ranger from Turku! Left leaning old school EBM by one person. Song topics are about pressures of society and curses of mankind. Musical influences by Nitzer Ebb, EBM revival and anarcho-punk.
