Nuestro club de lectura de verano para adultos, sera un espacio acogedor para personas bilingües, hispanohablantes o cualquier persona interesada en leer y conversar en español.
Las sesiones se llevarán a cabo principalmente en español el último martes de junio a agosto de 2026.
Este verano exploraremos temas de identidad, migración, memoria y pertenencia a través de tres obras cautivadoras:
• Por si un día volvemos de María Dueñas, una historia envolvente sobre el exilio, la resiliencia y la búsqueda de un nuevo comienzo lejos del hogar. Discusión el martes 30 de junio de 5:30 a 7:00 pm.
• Mi nombre es Emilia del Valle de Isabel Allende, una novela llena de fuerza y emoción que sigue a una protagonista valiente en su camino de autodescubrimiento e historia familiar. Discusión el martes 28 de julio de 5:30 a 7:00 pm.
•Solito de Javier Zamora, un conmovedor testimonio sobre la migración infantil y la esperanza, contado desde una perspectiva íntima y poderosa. Discusión el martes 25 de agosto de 5:30 a 7:00 pm.

Our summer book club for adults will be a welcoming space for bilingual individuals, Spanish speakers, or anyone interested in reading and conversing in Spanish.
The sessions will be conducted primarily in Spanish on the last Tuesday of each month from June through August 2026.
This summer, we will explore themes of identity, migration, memory, and belonging through three captivating works:
• Por si un día volvemos by María Dueñas: an immersive story about exile, resilience, and the search for a new beginning far from home. Discussion on Tuesday, June 30, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
• Mi nombre es Emilia del Valle by Isabel Allende: a novel filled with strength and emotion that follows a courageous protagonist on her journey of self-discovery and family history. Discussion on Tuesday, July 28, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
• Solito by Javier Zamora: a moving testimony regarding child migration and hope, told from an intimate and powerful perspective. Discussion on Tuesday, August 25, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
