CLOWN SMASH EVERYTHING
On Friday 6th March. CLOWNSMASHEVERYTHING will bring their relentless, slab-heavy angular post-punk thrills to SPACE STUDIOS in Norwich.
Genre-spanning hardcore dandies ClownSmashEverything have been described as “combining the best aspects of punk, metal, and desert rock,” and “Tool on crack.” Make of that what you will; crack is a hell of a drug… Glorious choruses serve as the perfect foil to angular, nasty riffs and wry, darkly humorous lyrics spat with venom and bile. Post-millennial angst for the terminally optimistic. You can dance to it, too.

THIS BE THE VERSE
They will be joined by London's THIS BE THE VERSE, who defy boundaries in the alternative-
industrial rock scene. Their latest EP, 'Eshgh' (May 2023), embodies the
band's resilience, a response to personal and global turmoil.
In 2016, their sophomore album 'Deny All' emerged as a striking
commentary on socio-political events, crowned "The best Industrial
Metal Album of 2020" by Metalsucks. Both ‘Eshgh’ and ‘Deny All’ were
mixed by Lewis Johns (Employed To Serve / Rolo Tomassi / Ithaca)
This Be The Verse's live prowess shines on stages shared with Idles (at
SXSW), Tiger Cub and Employed To Serve. The band have previously
had full-page features in Kerrang and Metal Hammer as well as a
number of plays on the Radio 1 Rock Show by Daniel P Carter.

SPINELESS
Also sharing the stage will be SPINELESS, who are an industrial alt rock band from Norwich. They take a lot of influence from artists such as Nine Inch Nails, The Smashing Pumpkins and Placebo. The group initially started as the solo project of singer Ziggy, who released ‘Another Day In The Murder Machine’ prior to the band’s involvement. From here, they’ve evolved their sound to be something you can ‘float away to’. After the release of their single ‘Machinery’, Spineless have been playing a run of live shows across Norfolk which have been described as intense and dynamic by reviewers.
