About this Event
Clown 1: Play
September 8th - October 6th
10AM - 1:30PM
with Chloe Payne
In this workshop, students will learn to play, connect with an audience, and discover their personal clown.
Through exercises inspired by French clown master, Philippe Gaulier, students will learn to build complicity, gain sensitivity, follow their impulses and have FUN. This workshop is for all types of performers: actors, clowns, comedians, improvisers… Anyone who wants to get out of their head and follow their impulses.
ACCESSIBILITY INFO:
The main entrance is the ground floor. The door is wide enough to accommodate a standardized wheelchair and electric wheelchair. Our main lobby, bar and theatre are wheelchair accessible. Our stage is not as it is raised about 4 inches off the ground.
Our bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. The closest wheelchair accessible washroom is at the Mount Pleasant Community Centre, across the street from the theatre. Their hours of operations are Monday-Friday, 6 am to 10 pm, Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, 9 am to 6 pm.
