WAREHOUSE OF THEIVES- "Hailing from the North of England Warehouse of Thieves are a dynamic and vibrant band. They have been thrilling audiences across the UK and around Europe for the last 5 years. Their acclaimed self penned songs are a mixture of folk, rock, indie and even the odd Shanty thrown in for good measure. You will be taken on a whirlwind adventure of musical styles featuring wonderful vocal harmonies, audience participation and good humour! "
CALUM GILIGAN - Born in rural Galloway in Scotland, and now residing in Liverpool, Calum Gilligan has made large strides in the British Folk Scene in recent years. From supporting the likes of Kitty McFarlane, Martin Carthy and Martin Simpson, releasing an EP (BBC Radio Merseyside FolkScene’s EP of 2019) to launching a well-received Debut Album in 2022, this artist described as ‘gifted’ by Folk Radio is only growing in reputation and confidence with every step he takes. With two national tours under his belt, filling venues from London to Liverpool and Bristol to York, and with new music due for release in 2024, he would be well worth keeping a keen eye on.
VISION THING - This 5 piece group produce harmonious and beautiful thoughtful songs and music. Many of their songs are their own compositions. Pete Cunliffe (Vocals/acoustic guitar) is a prolific songwriter. Cherlene (Shelly) Walmsley (Vocals), has a powerful and distinctive voice. David Windsor (Violin) plays a 100 year old violin through a variety of effects producing "a tone and texture to die for". Paul Cunliffe plays keyboard, guitar and harmonium. Martin White plays bass guitar.
They are a joy to listen to with their haunting and original music.
