Clothing Repair at the Islington Fixers

NOTE:

Please note that during busy moments, clothing repairs are capped at 1 per person.

Clara will be available for clothing repair by machine or by hand, hosted at the same event as the Islington Fixers. No bookings, it’s first come first served. We recommend arriving between 12 and 2 pm to guarantee your fix, especially if you bring multiple items.

What we can do:

•⁠ ⁠Patching holes (eg jeans crotch)

•⁠ ⁠Trouser hems (I can do this reversibly for children’s clothes)

•⁠ ⁠Darning knitwear

•⁠ ⁠Fixing ripped seams

•⁠ ⁠Taking in waist bands

We can’t repair or replace broken zips, as this requires taking the item apart and putting it back together. We may be able to replace elastics, but this will depend on the items construction.
