Join the Closing the Loop conference showcases innovative industries at the forefront of waste reduction, post-use materials, advanced sorting technologies, and extending the lifecycle of textiles. The conference aims to raise awareness about the current textile waste landscape, present state of art technologies and strategies for waste management and provide case studies on circular economy practices. The event will conclude with a networking session aimed at fostering collaboration between professionals, academia, and industry stakeholders.
Transitions Pilot 2
Following the Closing the Loop Conference, the Transitions Lab Pilot 2 will offer 3 training sessions that are focusing on Lifecycle Assessment, Sustainable Business models and Waste Reduction Strategies. During the training, participants will get introduced and use the Loopholes toolkit,
TRANSITIONS project project aims to nurture the textile and fashion transition to an Industry 4.0 system and a circular economy by developing new learning methods, tools, and practices to help students, young designers, and professionals to face real challenges.
The Transitions partners have developed a modular curriculum for the textile and fashion sector to support the transition towards sustainability and digitalization at three educational levels: VET, Professionals and Higher Education. The Transitions Lab aims to test the modular curriculum across the professional level.
The program has been designed by The Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC), Elisava School of Design and Engineering, and the Catalan Fashion Cluster (Modacc).
