Closing Show with Steven Frost: "The Loom as Journal: Studies in Texture and Time"

From Leonardo da Vinci's sketches to Andy Warhol's diaries, journals offer a unique glimpse into the processes and ways of knowing that shape an artist's work.

As an artist and professor at CU Boulder, Steven Frost focuses on the intersection of textiles, queer studies and community development. They incorporate traditional materials like yarn and cotton with non-traditional, often unexpected materials to explore ways history, memory and time are embedded in textiles.

Come meet Steven and take in the experimental playfulness of their work up close. All of their work is currently available for purchase. There will also be limited small tapestry looms made by Steven available for purchase for those who are inspired to start their own weaving journey.

Entry is free and open to the public; those who wish to make a donation to enable us to bring more artists and their work to downtown Boulder are welcome to and appreciated as well.
