Join us for the closing reception for “The Magic of the Sun Playing with the Moon” 06/22/24Featuring a collaborative all ages Sunbleached Painting Party 2-6pm
Come to see the show, stay to chill and paint! You are cordially invited to help us create a large format hand painted negative that will be used to produce a durational sunbleached contact print. This project is inspired by Japeth Mennes’s painting, “Sun Bleach”, currently on view.
The collaborative negative will be anchored in a frame on top of a glow-in-the dark fluorescent ground and installed in our courtyard for a year-long exposure.
This event is free and open to all. Please note, the space is wheelchair accessible but there is no accessible bathroom.
Donations are appreciated. All funds go toward funding our ongoing community programing. Hope you can make it!
