About this Event
Month-end doesn’t break people. Rework does.
It’s the missing backup, the mystery variance, the “quick question” that turns into an hour-long conversation, the email thread that becomes a scavenger hunt.
This February’s Mac Coffee & Conversations session is for accounting pros who want cleaner processes and fewer loose ends using AI as a workflow assistant, not a roulette wheel.
What we’ll cover is practical and defensible:
- Using AI to draft variance explanations that non-finance humans can understand
- Standardize month-end notes and documentation
- Create checklists/SOPs that actually get used
- Draft client-ready updates without rewriting the same message every month.
We’ll also draw a bright line around what AI in accounting shouldn’t do:
- Reconcile without review
- Make classification decisions
- Approve final numbers
- Produce anything you won’t be comfortable defending
This session is for accountants, bookkeepers, controllers, finance ops teams, and firm owners who support month-end close and want AI to reduce admin drag without increasing risk.
It’s not for anyone looking for a “replace the team with AI” playbook, tax/legal compliance advice, or a single magic prompt that solves everything.
Space is limited to eight (8) participants only.
