Our members stepped up when federal funding of public media went away Oct. 1st. Now, with the federal shutdown underway, 440,000 Minnesotans will not be receiving food benefits beginning Nov. 1. We're paying it forward by highlighting the growing reality of food insecurity in Northern Minnesota. Representatives of Lakes Area Food Shelf will be at our event to share more about the need and collect financial donations.
