About this Event

Come join Tovah Means, LMFT and Dr. Jennifer Litner, PhD, LMFT, CST for this in person 2 CEU workshop and mini networking event at Embrace Sexual Wellness in Ravenswood, Chicago.

Tovah and Jennifer will be discussing the unique challenges that trauma survivors face in caring for their bodies, including finding trauma sensitive doctors/healers, making doctor's appointments, attending them, and managing triggers before, during, and after getting medical care.

Trauma survivors regularly avoid caring for their bodies in a number of ways after childhood trauma. They will often come to us with a myriad of heath related concerns. Helping clients face these concerns and challenges with thier health is critical in helping them heal from trauma.

This workshop is for providers - therapists, healthcare providers, and healers. There are 2 CEUs plus 30 minutes of mixing and mingling after with each other after the workshop.
