What is the event?The Climbing QTs are an LGBTQIA+ climbing community and advocacy group with a goal to create a more diverse and inclusive environment for people of all identities and backgrounds. Social meet ups are regular climbing sessions dedicated to making climbing accessible to the queer community.
Who is it for?
This is for all humans of the LGBTQIA+ community of all ages, fitness levels or experience. It is a super relaxed social event with the opportunity to do some climbing if you feel up to it.
We will have QT Champions hosting the event who are experienced climbers and can offer all the help and support you will need to get on the wall.
The Y also has auto-belay systems, as well as top rope, so there’s no need to rely on bringing a climbing buddy. Friends, families and fan clubs are welcome to come along to watch 😊
