Experience the quiet majesty of Snowdon at dusk with a guided twilight trek.Yr Wyddfa (as it is known locally in Welsh) is the highest peak in Wales and at 1085m/3560ft high, it’s a tough climb to reach the summit, and just as tough to walk down in the dark. However, you are rewarded with tremendous views over the coast and northern Snowdonia from its lofty heights. If the cloud obscures the fine views from the summit, as it often can, there is still plenty of exciting mountain terrain to view around you.
It’s a powerful experience that will connect you with your fellow walkers, the mountain itself and nature in an unforgettable way. Take a moment to turn off torches and see if you can spot the milky way!
The best place to park is in Llanberis, we meet at the Dolbadarn Castle Parc Padarn Car Park.
After meeting at 5.30pm, we aim to summit for the sunset and will be back in Llanberis early next morning. Make sure you get plenty of rest before your journey home.
This is an OPEN walk for all abilities - children over 16yrs with similar walking experience, are welcome with their parent or guardian. Groups of 5 or more will need to contact us directly to book your own private walk.
