🧩 How It Works:
- Check-In & Gear Up:
You’ll check in at the front desk, sign a waiver (online or in-person), and get fitted with rental equipment.
- Safety Briefing:
Ascend staff will guide everyone through a quick climbing safety overview to get you comfortable and ready.
- Split Into Groups:
The event will be split into two rotating groups:
🔺 Group A starts with climbing
🗣️ Group B starts with activities/speed friending
- Climb & Connect:
Climbers will be paired with random partners for short 5–10 minute climbs, switching routes and partners after each
round. After 4 rotations, the groups will switch.
- Activities & Icebreakers:
While one group climbs, the other will participate in seated conversations, guided prompts, trivia, and mini games—
perfect for sparking connections.
- Mix & Mingle Afterparty:
When the climbing is done, we’ll head downstairs to Velum Fermentation for a casual post-event hangout with drink
specials and extra time to vibe with your favorite matches.
