Did you know how much carbon we emit just by flushing the toilet? Drop in and improve your carbon literacy through a fun board game!
About this Event

Carboned OUT is a board and card game that takes you on a journey through an imaginary Planet Carbonasa where the climate crisis has reached its peak and urgent action is needed. In response to this crisis, the government has implemented a ground breaking policy: living under a Carbon Budget. In the game, every activity you undertake emits carbon, making it essential to be mindful of your choices in order to ration your carbon credits wisely. The goal is to avoid running out of credits and getting "Carboned OUT."

Humans have a large amount of power on Earth and, as we know, "with great power comes great responsibility." The more an individual knows about their carbon and carbon emission, the better they can be equipped to create a positive difference.

By incorporating real-life situations, the game highlights the consequences of our choices and the interconnectedness of our actions. It serves as a powerful medium to explore the challenges we face, the trade-offs we encounter, and the urgent need for immediate action in our daily lives.

Did you know how much carbon we emit just by flushing the toilet? While doing a Google search? or by owning a dog? Learn this and more through our game Carboned Out and get one step closer to becoming Carbon Literate.

Can't make this one? Find us at The Canteen, Camberwell College of Arts, Wednesday 24th 4-6pm.
