About this Event
On the front lines of the climate crisis, Miami confronts rising seas, extreme heat, and growing inequities. Miami Climate 365 will host an after-hours dialogue at The Bass Museum with Anais Reyes, Deputy Director of The Climate Museum, and eco-artist Xavier Cortada, to discuss the role of the cultural sector at this critical moment in time.
In this conversation, Cortada and Reyes will explore how artists and cultural institutions can move beyond raising awareness and toward generating action. What should the public expect from its cultural leaders? How can institutions integrate climate programming as core work rather than occasional content?
