This session offers a gentle introduction to Environmental Empowerment, wherever you are on your journey. Together, we’ll explore the challenges that hold us back, emotional as well as practical, and begin uncovering the power we have to create change.

You’ll connect with others through shared experiences, reflect on what’s challenging you, and discover next steps that can help you move from overwhelm to agency.

This session is primarily for people living in Cheshire & North Wales. However, as this is a Climate Café, everyone is welcome. Please note that discussions and resources will be centred around Chester.

This session is for people who:

• Care deeply about the environment and want to take action
• Feel anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start
• Are already involved but seeking more impact or direction
• Are local to Chester and looking for an environmental community
• Are based elsewhere and curious to experience a Climate Café

A Climate Café is a supportive, community-led space to explore climate-related thoughts and feelings, reduce overwhelm, and empower people to take action that feels realistic and fulfilling.

Climate Cafe Aims:

• Turn anxiety into agency
• Explore climate-related emotions in a supportive space
• Identify personal and collective barriers to action
• Brainstorm ways to move forward, locally and individually
• Connect with the wider climate community
