About this Event
Join us for a guided circular walk through Clifton Grove and Clifton Woods—two neighbouring green spaces that offer a fascinating contrast in landscape, character, and wildlife.
This 2.5–3 hour walk takes you through a mix of mature woodland, open green spaces, and quieter, less-trodden paths. Along the way, we’ll visit the young giant sequoia trees, a unique and growing feature of the area, and explore the rich variety of habitats that support local wildlife.
Whether you’re already familiar with Clifton or discovering it for the first time, this walk is a great opportunity to slow down, enjoy steady exercise, and gain a deeper appreciation of these often-overlooked natural spaces. The route also helps you get to know paths that can be tricky to navigate without guidance.
Terrain can be uneven and occasionally muddy, so sturdy footwear is essential. Please dress for the weather and bring water if needed.
