Clergy & Lay Leader Training

This free, in-person training will provide faith leaders and those wanting to learn more about the intersection of faith and family violence with information about abuse and how to effectively respond to those experiencing abuse. Topics include education about the dynamics of domestic violence, the impact of trauma and abuse on children, and how those from faith communities can effectively support the families they serve. Faculty for this training include local clergy, therapists, and domestic violence service providers.

This event is open to those in leadership and pastoral care positions from all faith communities and anyone wanting to learn more about how faith communities can respond to family violence.
