Welcome to Women Empowerment Wednesday!
Join us for an empowering evening with Maria Derchi Russo. Maria has been a pillar of the Miami Tech community for close to a decade. Serving as Executive Director of Refresh Miami, the city's oldest and largest tech community, since 2015, and VP of Platform at Florida Funders since 2021, she has a deep commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and growing the South Florida tech ecosystem.
Passionate about diversifying the tech industry, in 2016 Maria founded Women in Miami Tech, a community and support network of 3,000 women. She also co-hosts the Miami Tech Pod, showcasing local entrepreneurs, investors and ecosystem builders helping grow the Miami ecosystem.
Melissa will be interviewed by Natalia Martinez Kalinina. Natalia is an organizational psychologist and technologist focused on merging innovation, entrepreneurship, and impact. Natalia is Co-Founder and COO of Base, a modern-day membership club that brings great minds together for curated, deep, intimate social experiences meant to hack serendipity. She is also the Founder & Principal at NMK Group, where she advises clients on economic development, human capital design, and impact strategy.
