The city of Clearwater is excited to offer residents the opportunity to receive two FREE trees to plant at home on April 25, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.! Help grow our urban canopy and make our community greener and healthier. Eligibility:
To receive your two free trees, you must:
Live within Clearwater city limits
Provide proof of residency (one of the following):
Florida driver’s license
Voter registration card
Recent utility bill
🌱 Tree Selection Details
Choose up to two trees in 3-gallon containers
Limit of one fruit tree per household
A total of 1,415 trees will be available
🌿 Ornamental & Native Varieties
Crape Myrtle (White Natchez, Lavender Muskogee, Pink Sioux, Red Tuscarora), Red Cluster Bottlebrush, Simpson Stopper, Walter’s Viburnum, Silver Buttonwood, Red Maple, Pignut Hickory, Pecan, Sugarberry, Persimmon, Dahoon Holly, Yaupon Holly, Southern Red Cedar, Southern Magnolia, Slash Pine, Longleaf Pine, Sycamore, Live Oak, and Baldcypress.
