Spring into the New this April and join our clean stream team to help clean North America’s Oldest River! Please register for our New River Clean Up from Milton Moretz to Castleford on Saturday April 18, 2026Please meet at 4500 Castle Ford Road, Boone, NC 28607 at 10:00 AM to set shuttle
The New River Conservancy will supply all tools and equipment for this clean up with additional support from our partners; NC State Parks, Keep Ashe Beautiful, NC Wildlife Federation’s High Country Wild Chapter and NC Works.
Dress to get dirty and bring plenty of water as well as a light lunch.
Please bring your own set of waders if you have them and wear layers with warm head gear.
