Join LWR for a trash pickup at Percival's Island on May 2nd! When litter is left behind, it is often washed away into the James, where it makes its way to the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. At least 14 million tons of trash end up in the ocean EVERY YEAR! Come make an impact on your community (and make some friends!) LWR is an official partner with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation for Clean the Bay Day, and your help makes a world of difference.
Clean-up supplies are provided. Be sure to bring a reusable water bottle, snacks, closed-toe shoes and clothing that can get wet and muddy. Please register at the link above.
