Clean Fashion Summit 2024: (G)LOCAL

The next edition of our summit will untangle GLOBAL / LOCAL ways of working, exploring how we can ethically partner with and champion overseas partnerships. Diving into the nature of imperial capitalism, from sourcing raw materials to waste management and how we can practice better business with fairer gains for people and planet.

The third edition of our summit will take place during COP29 (11-22 Nov) centring the global conversation in the UK. Colèchi's annual summit attracts industry professionals, creatives, academics and more creating a forum for idea exchange, collaboration, and exploration of key themes related to sustainable and clean fashion practices.

A curated line-up of speakers merging fashion with nature, science and agriculture to change the supply chain. Continuing the themes of our industry recongised AGREENCULTURE manifesto, this summit will explore international relationships.

LAUNCHING THE WEAVING TOOLKIT

As winners of the New Landscape Award 2023, Colèchi and Panublix explored the weaving industry across the UK and Philippines in collaboration with the British Council and UAL. The international exchange fuelled the (G)Local discussion and is captured in the weaving report launching in the autumn. There will be limited print edition available at the Summit.

CELEBRATING YKWU EAST

Showcasing the work of the YKWU EAST, a knitwear programme for emerging knitwear designers in collaboration with Westfield and Foundation for Future London.
