Join us for an important and informative discussion on the impact of immigration enforcement actions on K-12 schools. Hear perspectives from attorneys, school leaders, and students. Attorneys from Education Minnesota, Zimmerman Reed, and Nilan Johnson Lewis will provide an update on the lawsuit to block immigration enforcement activities at or near schools. School leaders and students will share their stories about the impact of enforcement on school operations. 1.0 Elimination of Bias Credits have been applied for. A light lunch will be provided.

About the MNUDL: This panel is organized in support of the MN Urban Debate League, a program of Augsburg University. The MNUDL provides after school academic debate programming for 1,850 students in 10 school districts; programming includes: MSHSL Debate, Middle School Debate, East African Policy Debate, Debate en Español (Spanish Debate), Financial Literacy Debate, and Summer Speech and Debate Camps. Debate is proven to increase graduation rates, test scores, GPAs, and enrollment to college.
