About this Event
Learn the fundamental skills required for evidentiary hearings and trial. Topics will include direct and cross-examination, impeachment, refreshing recollection, and laying the proper foundation for the admission of exhibits. This hands-on training will allow participants to practice these techniques and leave with the confidence and ability to use them effectively in court.
Bill Elward, Program Director at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), will deliver this in-depth training in courtroom 3B of the Lloyd D. George U.S. Courthouse. Registration is limited to two persons per firm.
Nevada-licensed or emeritus-certified attorneys can earn 5.0 general CLE credits by attending. To attend, attorneys must accept one new federal pro bono matter. Please visit our website for a full listing of available cases.
