This meet is on! Museum now has us on the 2026 schedule. The Antique Boat Museum in Clayton hosts steamboats every June, supplying us with ample free firewood and excellent docks for the week. What do they want in return? For our boats to be on display at the docks for "Family Day", the first Saturday in June. The 2026 dates are starting on June 6th for family day, with the docks and wood supply available to us until the morning of June 13th. The Museum would appreciate it if we launched our boats during the afternoon of the 5th.
The Thousand Islands makes for some excellent steamboating. Look in the discussion comments for photos of past meets here.
Clayton is an excellent base for this meet, with several good motels and every level of dining available.
Another excellent attraction nearby is the museum ship Keewatin in Kingston, ON, about an hour away by car. This Edwardian era passenger steamer is in excellent condition, still furnished with her original fittings. A good video of her can be found on YouTube here.
