Come marvel at Claydon’s unique architecture and learn more about its unprecedented design. On the outside Claydon House may seem unassuming, a classical country house. But, once you step inside, it is a different story altogether. The riotous interior decoration shows an unparalleled remnant of a once grander design. Claydon’s magnificence is encapsulated in soaring double height rooms, crowded with intricate carvings of fanciful creatures and unusual designs. Architect Luke Lightfoot’s vision bombards the senses with a mixture of over the top classical and fantasy Rococo, to Gothic and fictional Chinoiserie.
