Get ready to bond with your little one while getting your hands dirty! Our fun parent and child pottery wheel workshop is great for all ages and abilities.When: Saturday 31st January 10am- 12.30pm
Where: The Seed Art School - Unit 3, 1A Blackbutt Road Port Macquarie
In this pottery workshop you will work together to:
- throw, center, opening & pulling your clay
- create a cup, bowl or vessel each on the pottery wheel
Each parent and child will share a wheel and have several tries but will keep 1 final piece each (2 total per group or pay $15 extra for each additional piece) to be fired and glazed.
Once dried (2ish weeks) we will bisque fire your pieces. Book into one of our glaze days to return to glaze. If you're visiting from out of town we can glaze and post them out to you for a small fee. You can collect your pottery 4 weeks after your wheel class.
Bookings are essential- $160 per parent and child. Good for ages 5+. All supplies, aprons, firing and glaze included.
