In this five-day workshop, we'll focus on the potter's wheel and immerse ourselves in clay. This workshop is designed for a range of intermediate students with instruction & support in a relaxed studio environment. It is also open to those with experience seeking studio time and space in lovely downtown Nanaimo, Vancouver Island. The following will be demonstrated & discussed: Building skills on the potters' wheel, self-evaluation and problem solving. A focus on throwing for busy potters who cannot rely on controlled temperatures for drying.
