Ages 7 & upGet ready to create something both functional and beautiful at Artist For A Day! In this two-part clay workshop, artists will design and build their very own clay wall pocket—perfect for holding small plants, dried flowers, paintbrushes, or adding a handmade touch to your space.
During the first session, participants will roll out slabs of clay, cut them using a pattern, and carefully shape them into a wall pocket form. This intermediate-level class will also focus on refining details— decorative elements, and personal touches to make each piece truly one-of-a-kind. It’s a great next step for those ready to build on their clay skills! After firing, you’ll return during open studio hours to glaze your piece in colors that match your style and space.
✨ Some clay experience is helpful, but we’ll guide you every step of the way!
Workshop Details:
-Create your clay piece in two sessions—one to build and one to glaze.
-The fee includes one clay session, plus a return visit in two weeks to paint it yourself.
-We will notify you once your piece has been slow-dried and kiln-fired (about 14–18 days). You’ll then be able to glaze your piece!
-After glazing, your piece will be ready for pickup 10 days later.
Cost: $35 per person (includes all materials and supplies)
