About this Event
Use underglazes and hand-building techniques to create your very own, handmade ceramic planter pot. Led and taught by local artist Rosemary Aicher.
About the Artist, Maker and Educator:
Rosemary Aicher lives and works in Kitchener, Ontario. She studied fine art, art history and anthropology at the University of Toronto. Rosemary Aicher has worked as an artist in the field of archaeology in Iran, Egypt, Tunisia, Malta, Italy and Canada. Rosemary is drawn to the organic, tactile qualities of throwing clay, utilizing techniques such as sgraffitto, raku, wax resist, and under glaze in her work. Her images and forms are inspired by her years of travel, archaeology and studies in art history.

Artwork Pickup
