About this Event
Clay Hess is a Grammy-Award winner who played with Ricky Skaggs and has also played with almost every major bluegrass artist - including Mountain Heart, Sierra Hull, Ron Block and Tony Rice. He is considered to be one of the elite flat pick guitarists in the world. Jon Garon has played acoustic music for over 60 years in a variety of musical iterations. Jon is a fingerpicking specialist who has appeared with Vassar Clements, John Denver’s band, and many other national acts. Dr. John Wheat is a 16-time Indiana and Kentucky State Banjo Champion. He has performed with Tony Rice, Mark Newton and Special Consensus. Zack Nibert is an exceptional up and coming young banjo player from Kentucky. Clay’s son Brennan plays solid bass. This is truly a group of all-star pickers!
A portion of the proceeds of the concert on January 3rd will benefit Collier County National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
