Little hands, big imagination - come and make something wild!
About this Event

Join us for a hands-on clay workshop where children will pinch, poke, and shape their very own ceramic animals. Using the ancient technique of pinch pot building, every child will create their own unique creature - no two will ever be the same!
We'll decorate our animals with colourful slips before they head back to the studio to be fired and finished with a beautiful glossy transparent glaze. A few weeks later, they'll be ready to collect - a proper keepsake to treasure (and show off!).
What to expect:

  • A fun, relaxed making session suitable for all skill levels - no experience needed
  • Guided step-by-step through the pinch pot technique
  • Decorating with coloured slips to bring each creature to life
  • Firing and glazing handled by the studio - you just come back to collect!

Practical details:

  • Suitable for ages 6–12 (children aged 5 are very welcome with a participating adult alongside them)
  • All materials included
  • Please dress kids for mess - clay happens!

Spaces are limited, so grab yours before they're snapped up.

Where: Present Made Pavilion

When: May 23rd, 3-5pm
